Physical therapy is a medical health care profession. Physical therapy interventions shall be performed by physical therapist with qualified clinical certificate. A physical therapy intern shall comply with laws that states that specific physical therapy interventions should be provided only under the direction and supervision of a qualified physical therapist. So, the physical therapy interns shall comply with ethics norms and bear legal responsibilities in clinics. The purposes of this article were to investigate the professional role and responsibilities of physical therapy interns, and to review the survey of the laws of medical negligent actions and attribution of responsibility. We provided two medical injury examples that physical therapy interns were involved in. We expect to provide recommendations that could be beneficial to establish related policies and regulations of physical therapist interns.
