【論文摘要】以健康信念模式探討民衆使用3C產品與預防上背痛行為之關係探討

摘要

Background and Purpose: Prevalence of 3C products causes many complications in recent years. Use of smart phones and computers with wrong posture could cause neck and upper back muscle tightness and uncomfortable and even causes cervical herniated intervertebral disc (HIVD) or spondylosis in young ages. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between 3C products use and upper back pain prevention behavior based on the perspective of Health Belief Model. Methods: A purposive sampling method was used to collect 360 valid questionnaires in Kaohsiung and Pingtung. The statistical software SPSS 18.0 with Pearson Product-Moment Correlation was used to analyze the collected data. Results: The results showed that (1) a significant positive correlation was observed between perceived susceptibility and upper back pain prevention behavior (r = 0.254, p < 0.01); (2) a significant positive correlation was observed between perceived severity and upper back pain prevention behavior (r = 0.309, p < 0.01); (3) a significant positive correlation was observed between perceived benefits and upper back pain prevention behavior (r = 0.311, p < 0.01); (4) a significant positive correlation was observed between cues to action and upper back pain prevention behavior (r = 0.432, p < 0.01). Conclusion: There were significant positive correlations between perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefits, cues to action and upper back pain prevention behavior based on health belief model. Clinical Relevance: There are many people who use 3C products resulting in upper back pain in recent years, and improved health belief could possibly increase upper back pain prevention behavior.
