青少年健身運動自我效能量表之編製

Development of Youth Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale

摘要


本研究目的在依據Bandura(1977)的自我效能理論,建立多向度「青少年健身運動自我效能量表」(Youth Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale, YESES)。以國中階段青少年為樣本,研究方法包含三個階段,樣本總計1,446份,經項目分析;探索式與驗證式因素分析;同時多群組共變數分析、效標關聯效度分析。結果顯示量表包含「人際關係」、「身體健康」、「休閒娛樂」、「運動適能」、「情緒壓力」、「生活技能」等6個因素24個題目。此外,此量表有良好信效度及測量不變性。應用分析方面,3年級的學生在量表部分層面高於1、2年級;男生在量表各層面均比女生高。本研究結論是量表適用於青少年健身運動自我效能的檢測,透過量表的研究可輔導青少年從事健身運動。

The purpose of this study was to develop a multidimensional measurement of the Youth Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale (YESES) derived from Bandura's (1977) Self-Efficacy Theory. A total number of 1,446 junior high school students were recruited for this study, and the data were collected in three phases. The statistical analyses including exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, simultaneous multigroup covariance analysis, as well as the analysis concerning criterion-related validity were employed. The results revealed that the YESES contained six subscales, including ”interpersonal relationship,” ”health,” ”entertainment,” ”physical ability,” ”stress,” and ”life skill.” Notably, the YESES demonstrated satisfactory reliability, validity and measurement invariance. With respect to the applied analyses, it was found that ninth grade students provided higher scores than eighth and seventh grade students while responding to some of the YESES subscales; male students scored higher than female students on the entire YESES. In conclusion, the YESES is a considerable technique to measure the adolescents' exercise self-efficacy, and findings from the YESES research can also be utilized to consult adolescents to participate in exercise.
