From the perspective of regulation theory, this study tries to explore ”the Townscape Renaissance Movement in Taiwan”. The goals of this study are to understand what problems the Townscape Renaissance Movement were confronted, and was it efficient or meaningful for our society as an important policy tool? In the meantime, this study tries to combine regulation theory and the movement of townscape renaissance, so it may open a new approach to interpreting the context the movement to researchers and offer some strategic choices to policy-makers.
