本研究旨在探討桃竹苗四縣市國民小學校長專業發展能力與專業發展策略之現況,並分析不同個人背景變項、學校環境變項的教育人員在桃竹苗四縣市校長專業發展能力知覺度差異情形。並藉由校長對其專業發展策略填答情況,探討校長發展不同專業能力的選擇情形,以供主管教育行政機關與國民小學校長專業發展時之參考。根據本研究資料分析之結果,歸納出以下結論:壹、桃竹苗四縣市國民小學教育人員所知覺到的校長專業發展能力為中高程度,其中以「態度層面」的知覺度最高。貳、國民小學教育人員所知覺到的校長專業發展能力主要因年齡、學校地區而有差異。参、桃竹苗四縣市國民小學校長所選擇的校長專業發展策略以「師傅校長經驗傳承」為最多。肆、桃竹苗四縣市國民小學校長所選擇的校長專業發展策略歸類情形為「實務型策略」。
The purposes of this study are to investigate the Principal professional development competence and professional development strategy in the elementary schools around Taoyuna county, Hsinchu county, Hsinchu city, and Miaoli county, and also to analyze different levels of sensitivity about professional Development competence among educational personnel from different personal backgrounds and campus cultures. The main results were summarized as follows: 1. The perception of professional development competence is medium-high; 2. The background variables of educators, such as age and school area, were to show the significant difference in the professional development competence; 3. Most of the principals choosing the professional development strategy is ”principal's mentoring”, and the classified situation is ”the practice strategy”; 4. Classified situation of the professional development strategy is ”the practice strategy”.
