建構空間中神聖場域設計之基礎模式

To Explore the Model for Designing the Field of Sacred Space

摘要


「神聖空間」一直扮演著提昇人類心靈境界的場所,其相關的研究已形成一種未來的趨勢,而隨著社會變遷的多元需求,如何建構空間中神聖場域設計的模式研究,已成為未來城市、當代建築與室內設計重要的設計思考研究課題。本文的研究目的主要探索神聖空間的運用方式、空間類型與空間特質,最後建構出神聖空間場域設計之基礎模式。研究方法包括文獻探討、深度訪談、案例分析與觀察,經綜合分析後,提出下列的發現與貢獻:(1)「神聖空間」與「心靈空間」相應,具有「外在」的實質空間與「內在」的心靈空間之雙重互動關係;(2)神聖空間是人與神、宇宙或內在神性溝通的「媒介」空間,常具「象徵性」,而「神聖」與「世俗」有別,可透過空間、儀式或各種聖化行為等三種模式加以界定其神聖的空間領域;(3)神聖空間場域之建構模式,必須經由各種感官(包括視覺、聽覺、嗅覺、觸覺與運動覺)共同界定與感受神聖的領域,其空間性特質往往具有不同層次的中心性與神聖焦點,所形成的神聖軸線與定向,神聖氛圍的包被,象徵理想的聖境;(4)自然元素包括光、水、植物、氣等,與神聖象徵物,是神聖空間的重要因子,自然的神聖性,成為普遍的共識;(5)神聖空間的核心模式包括幾個向度:感知主體、神聖的信仰、神聖行為、神聖時間、神聖空間與神聖象徵物體;(6)神聖空間具有三個層次:天、人、地,天界是最高層次,象徵神的居所與理想的世界,並基於神聖信者的文化認同與行為去建構;(7)台灣在地的神聖經驗,普遍民間信仰屬於多元信仰,認為「神」即是「聖」,「聖」可成「神」,人本有的「靈性」卽「元神」,均具有神性。

”Sacred space” has always been a significant location for enhancing human spirituality. The purpose of this research is to elucidate the relationship between the ”sacred” and the ”profane,” and explore practice and types of sacred space to construct a preliminary conceptual model for designing sacred space. This study proposes a preliminary model and the finding in several dimensions. (1) Sacred space is the ”medium” and ”symbol” to communicate with god or personal spirits. (2) There is a distinction between the ”sacred” and the ”profane.” Three strategies: buffered space, rite, or sanctified activities, could define sacred fields. (3) The field model is usually inspired by the perception of the sacred aura and the visualization to construct the sacred field. The centrality, orientation and sacred focus are the significant characteristics to construct the sacred axis. (4) Designing sacred space should consider from three layers: the heaven, the earth, and the human. (5) Nature (light. water, plants, wind), the significant factors of sacred space, should be implicated as the first layers. (6) The approaches for experiencing sacred space are gradually moving from formalized religious faith to informal, daily, multifaceted personal spiritual experiences.
