典禮儀式與象徵意涵：全國大專校院運動會開幕典禮儀式化研究
Ritual of Ceremony and Symbolic Implication: Ritualization Research on Opening Ceremony of National Intercollegiate Athletic Games
摘要
本文藉由檢視歷屆大專運動會報告書與秩序冊，針對開幕典禮「舉辦儀式」進行分析與討論。研究結果呈現在六個面向上：一、聖火點燃代表、聖火傳遞與點燃：聖火代表的獲選是表揚承辦學校優秀運動員之運動成就與鼓勵為校爭光所付出的努力；聖火傳遞意義是為一種宣揚賽會精神、宣傳運動賽會與廣告學校知名度為主；聖火點燃的深層意涵旨在傳達運動生命與運動精神的可貴。二、誓詞與運動員宣誓：誓詞內容歷經政治、國族、集體與個人主義的歷史演變，但運動員藉由「公平／公正／公開」的競賽場域，表徵隱藏在「遵守大會一切規章」與「服從裁判之判決」口頭宣示中的「運動道德」與「運動家精神」。三、運動員進場：通過運動員進場的空間設計，宣揚對競技運動、辛勤訓練及不棄精神的禮讚。四、國歌、國旗與會旗進場：藉由政治符號與儀式展演的操作過程，傳遞政治文化、國族情感、民族精神以及大專體育國等深層意涵。五、長官來賓致詞：反應在增加宣傳、廣告與作秀的效果；為運動與體育發展背書；鼓勵提振士氣；顧及行政倫理以及對經費與社會資源支援的回饋；政治與意識形態表演場所等五個面向。六、表演節目：反應在炒熱會場氣氛以及創造迎賓效果等兩個面向。

By reviewing reports and manuals of schedule of past sessions of the National Intercollegiate Athletic Games, this study examined and analyzed ＂holding rituals＂ of opening ceremony. The findings of this study are as follows: (1) Symbolic implication of sacred fire representatives and lighting: selection of sacred fire representatives aims to praise sports achievement of excellent athletes of the host schools in the past years and their efforts to honor the schools; in-depth meaning of sacred fire lighting aims to promote the value of sports life and sports spirit. (2) Symbolic implication of the oath, athletes' oath taking: the content of oath reveals the historical development process of the politics, nationality, individualism & collectivism; by competition place of ＂equity/justice/disclosure＂, it presents ＂sports morality＂ and ＂sportsmanship＂ implied in oral declaration of ＂following all rules of the game＂ and ＂obeying the referees' judgment＂. (3) Symbolic implication of athletes' marching: by place design of athletes' marching, it praises competitive sports, diligent training and sportsmanship. (4) Symbolic implication of introduction of the national anthem, the national flag and the flag of the game: by operation of political symbols and performance of rituals, it conveys political identification and sports consensus such as national affection, national spirit, political culture and intercollegiate athletic country. (5) Symbolic implication of superiors' and guests' speech: it enhances advertising and promotion effect; it endorses sports and physical education development; it reinforces the morale; it concerns about administrative ethics and feedback to support of funds and social resources; performance place of politics and ideology. (6) Symbolic implication of performance programs: it livens up the atmosphere of the game and creates the welcoming effect.
