Elatostema cuneatum Wight (Urticaceae), a newly recorded species from Taiwan
台灣蕁麻科新紀錄種－稀齒樓梯草
摘要
Elatostema cuneatum Wight (Urticaceae) is reported for the first time in Taiwan. This species is different from other Elatostema species in having an annual habit corresponding to seasonal drought, and can be distinguished by its dwarf plant size, the rarity of male flowers compared to female flowers, subglabrous bracts of inflorescences and 1-2 haired apex of stigma. Detailed illustration, pictures and descriptions of E. cuneatum in Taiwan are provided in this study.
