For more than thirty years, I have been wondering a question: what religion is really about? Not until recently, I realize that religion concerns nothing more than the sublimation of life and soul. From this perspective, I re-examine a classic Confucian text, the Analects. It is amazing to find out that the Analects is a handbook for cultivating the talents, designed to raise their spirit and soul to a different level. Or so I claim.
