This paper focuses on the state of the field of Ming Studies in the Republic of Korea. The first part introduces the activities of ”The Ming-Qing History Society of Korea.” The second part focuses on the tendencies and characteristics of Ming studies in Korea since 1960. Finally, the third part includes an appendix listing key articles and books on Ming studies by Korean scholars.
