本研究旨在探討高職綜合職能科(招收輕度智能障礙學生,亦稱特教班)家長性教育需求及相關因素,採立意取樣選取某高職綜合職能科一至三年級(每班最多15人)總計42人。研究工具經改編後進行信度、效度考驗,於學校日當天委請家長填寫後收回,問卷發出42份,回收有效37份,回收率88.1%。資料經SPSS Window 10.0版統計軟體進行分析。重要研究發現: 1.「與子女溝通性相關問題」中以人類發展關鍵概念得分最高,性行為平均分數最低。 2.「自覺執行性教育效能」以人際關係得分最高,性行為關鍵概念之自覺效能平均分數最低。 3.「家長對實施性教育意見」在家庭方面七成認為可行,五成認為以配合學校計畫實施。在學校方面九成七家長贊成學校實施性教育。在社會方面九成家長贊成透過社教機構實施,六成家長贊成透過大眾傳媒實施。在對子女兩性關係期待部份:四成五家長贊成子女與異性交往,但結婚、生育之贊成比率則依序遞減。
This study was designed to identify the demands on and the opinions of sexuality education of the parents of the vocational school students’(with mild mental retardation). The dependent variables, based on some demographic variables, included parent-child communication on sexuality issues, parent’s perceived efficacy of giving sexuality education, and their opinions of having sexuality education in families, schools, society, and their expectations of the handicapped children’s boy-girl relationship in the futuer. The sampling method was purposive sampling, and from grade one to grade three students, and the total number was forty-two. The questionnaires were given to parents in school day this semester and the returned valid questionnaires were thirty-seven, with 88.1% returning rate. The SPSS window’s 10.0 package was used to analyze these data. The important findings were as follows: 1. Parent-child communication on sexuality issues: the highest mean score was on the item of human development, the lowest mean score was on the item of sexual behaviors. 2. Parent’s perceived efficacy of giving sexuality education: the highest mean score was on the item of human relationship, the lowest mean score was on the item of sexual behaviors. 3. Opinions of having sexuality education: 78.4% parents agreed to give their children sexuality education in family, 97.3% parents also agreed to let their children take sexuality education at school, and 94.6% parents agreed that their children have sexuality education through the social-educational institutions. Regarding the opinions of their handicapped children’s boy-girl relationships in the future: 45.9% parents agreed that their children made friends with opposite sex, 27.0% agreed that their children get married, and 18.9% agreed that they have offsprings.
