目的:簡化實驗室表單作業流程,消除不必要的浪費,又能符合評鑑認證需求。方法:運用流程程序分析,系統性發掘流程中隱藏的問題,藉由剔除(Eliminate)、合併(Combine)、重排(Rearrange)、簡化(Simplify)(簡稱ECRS)思維進行改善。結果:本個案醫院實驗室表單作業流程共發掘三大問題,經由本研究將表單重排建置在電子平台後,共剔除15 項步驟、合併及重排各1 項操作、簡化3 項審查與儲存作業,將原來20 項步驟減為5 項,刪除28.4 公里的搬運距離。作業時間由改善前每月286.4 分鐘縮短為179.7 分鐘、每月節省253 張紙及3,838 元碳帶成本。結論:本個案醫院實驗室以ECRS 思維建置表單電子化後,簡化儲存調閱方式、刪除表單印製及搬運、減少庫存空間,零距離遠距審查等,ECRS 思維有助於建立更具效率又符合評鑑規範的表單作業。
Objectives: To simplify laboratory documents, reduce the waste of paper or time, and meet certification requirements. Methods: We used process analysis to reveal the hidden problems of the process systemically, and to improve the processes using Eliminate, Combine, Rearrange, and Simplify (ECRS) thinking. Results: There were three major problems in the laboratory. Through the establishment of electronic documents, we removed 15 redundant laboratory steps, rearranged 1 operation step, and simplified 3 management and storage steps. These resulted in a reduction of laboratory steps from 20 to 5, a shortened transportation distance by 28.4 km, a decrease in operation time from 286.4 to 179.7 minutes, saved 253 sheets of papers, and reduced the costs for toner clips by $3,838 per month. Conclusions: Using ECRS thinking to build electronic documents in this laboratory, we simplified the entire storage and access process, reduced the operation time and transportation distances, and saved costs and resources. ECRS thinking was useful in establishing an efficient and effective operation process in our laboratory.
