摘要

二次戰後台灣自1960年代高等教育機構（大學）開始陸續成立日本語文學系至今已逾五十年，發展至今計有超過四十所以上的大專院校設置日本語文相關系所，培育出來的日本語文專業人才不計其數，活躍於社會各界。然而，隨著時代潮流與社會變遷，台灣高等教育機構的日本語文教育與研究之內涵亦有所變化。本文試從台灣各大學、學會出版之學術期刊、研討會以及學者發表的學術論著等研究活動，概觀台灣日本古典文學研究的發展歷史，分析當前所面臨的挑戰，並思考台灣的日本古典文學研究未來發展的方向與可能性。

Departments of Japanese Language and Literature have been founded one after another by higher education institutions for over fifty years since 1960s in Taiwan. More than 40 colleges have founded Japanese-related departments to date, being nurturing uncountable professionals of Japanese languages who are active in social circles. However, with the progress of the trends and social changes, the substance of Japanese education and researches of higher education institutions in Taiwan changed as well. This study attempts to see the advance of Japanese classical literature studies in Taiwan and the challenges we are faced with, by reviewing scholars’ academic works, academic journals and seminars held in universities and academic associations of Taiwan, and etc. Furthermore, this thesis is going to consider the directions and the possibility of it.
