Evidence based medicine (EBM) is the application of the most conscientious, explicit and judicious medical knowledge in caring for patients. EBM also takes into account objective literature, subjective physician's experience, and the patient's opinion. EBM includes the discovery of problems, data mining and searching, data analysis, and decision making based on the effectiveness and feasibility. How to pose adequate clinical questions, search for appropriate information and make the best decisions of this information can be achieved through the related training programs in EBM.
