本研究目的為探討遺傳學在職教育課程介入對護理人員遺傳學知識程度與臨床相關護理工作執行助益之影響。採單組前後測設計,運用「遺傳學知識量表」評估護理人員於在職教育前、後之知識程度改變;以「在職教育對工作執行助益程度量表」,收集護理人員對於接受遺專學在職教育之看法。研究結果發現,不論於課程立即結束及一個月後,護理人員的遺傳相關知識皆有顯著進步,其中以「細胞生理」進步最為明顯;就課程對其護理專業之助益程度部分亦持正向肯定的看法。整體而言,遺傳學在職教育對於護理人員的遺傳專業知識及臨床護理工作皆有正向助益,本研究發展-有效之臨床護理人員遺傳學在職教育模式,可提供未來臨床護理人員相關在職教育訓練之參考。
This study investigated the impact of continuing education for nursing staff in genetics, especially with respect to their level of knowledge and its value in clinical- related nursing care. A one-group pretest-posttest design was used. A genetics knowledge scale was used to evaluate the change in the level of knowledge of the nursing staff before and after this professional development course. The feedback from the nursing staff regarding continuing education in genetics was collected using the scale for continuing educations impact towards work. The results showed that there was significant improvement in the knowledge of the nursing staff in genetics both immediately after the course and one month after the course was offered, and the most significant improvement was seen in the area of cell biology. Based on the impact the course provided towards clinical nursing care received positive affirmation. Overall, continuing education in genetics provided positive impact in genetics knowledge and clinical nursing care for nursing staff. This study developed an effective model of continuing education in genetics for clinical nursing staff. It can be used as a reference for future professional development for clinical nurses.
