This study is to explore female immigrants with their experience of discrimination in daily life, how they do social participation through International awareness education, with the example of ethnic culture lecturer in Kawasaki city of Japan. The three main conclusions are found through interviews. 1. The motives of the participant are closely related to motherhood. 2. They attend mainly to the lectures which introduce different culture, only a few will touch upon enlightenment of anti-discrimination, in other words, their experience of discrimination was not extended to the actual patterns of participation. 3. They get some feedback from children rather than from the changes in the concept of teachers.
