東方果實蠅對於甲基丁香油的嗅覺反應性研究現況

摘要


東方果實蠅Bactrocera dorsalis(Hendel)(Diptera: Tephritidae)是臺灣重要果樹害蟲,也是國內鮮果外銷的主要限制因素。以含毒甲基丁香油(methyl eugenol)誘殺雄蠅降低雌蟲交配機會,是管理東方果實蠅族群的重要方法,且是確保維持非疫區的資材。但含使用毒甲基丁香油做為主要的防治手段己近60多年,以往亦有文獻提及田間存在對甲基丁香油不敏感之東方果實蠅雄蟲。田間到底是否存在對甲基丁香油不敏感雄蠅進而降低監測或防治效率,至今還無法取得結論。近年來,因為分子技術的發達,學者嚐試將東方果實蠅嗅覺基因的表現量差異關連出對甲基丁香油的吸引反應行為,以及透過雄果實蠅觸角對於嗅覺反應的蛋白基因表現量差異,深入瞭解東方果實蠅對甲基丁香油的嗅覺機制。基於東方果實蠅對甲基丁香油反應的嗅覺基因的表現,可以更快讓我們應用於國內的防治研究,以供未來瞭解國內東方果實蠅嗅覺基因對甲基丁香油的反應,開發田間對甲基丁香油不敏感蟲的偵測工具,早期偵測此現象以因應可能監測及防治的破口,所造成巨大的損失。

The oriental fruit fly Bactrocera dorsalis (Hendel) (Diptera: Tephritidae) is an important agricultural pest in Taiwan and is also the main limiting factor for fruit export. Using toxic methyl eugenol (ME) to trap male flies reduce their chances of mating with females is an important method for managing population numbers of oriental fruit flies and is a material to ensure the maintenance of epidemic-free areas. However, ME has been the main control method for more than 60 years. In the past, there are also documents mentioning the existence of oriental fruit fly males that are not sensitive to ME in the field. The male flies further reduce the efficiency of monitoring or control; so far, no conclusion can be reached. In recent years, due to the development of molecular technology, scholars have tried to link the differences in the expression levels of olfactory genes in oriental fruit flies with the behaviors related to the attraction response to ME and the differences in the expression levels of protein genes in the olfactory response through the antennae of males. In-depth understanding of the olfactory mechanism of oriental fruit flies on ME. Based on the performance of the olfactory genes of oriental fruit flies that respond to ME, it can be applied to domestic prevention and control research more quickly for future understanding of the response of oriental fruit flies to ME. A detection tool for ME insensitive insects, early detection of this phenomenon in response to possible monitoring and control breaches, prevent causing huge losses.
