探討台北市金牌韻律體操選手退出訓練之原因:個案調查研究

A Case Study on the Reason Why a Gold-Medal Rhythmical Gymnastics Player Drops the Training

摘要


大陸、日本與韓國他們的韻律體操選手目前都已在國際韻律體操競賽上有所斬獲,但是台灣的選手至今仍然無法進軍到國際的體操大賽,因此筆者想研究台灣的韻律體操與探討韻律體操選手退出訓練的原因。本研究以觀察及深度訪談法為研究方法,研究對象是一位曾獲得台北市韻律體操錦標賽七面金牌的選手,並且以三角檢驗方式同時訪談選手的母親及老師。本研究觀察期間從民國九十二年十一月至民國九十三年三月止,共四個月時間,研究重點是現場觀察、訪談以及相關文獻資料收集。 本研究的主要發現包括:(一)昂貴的訓練費用,是造成M 退出訓練的主因;(二)升學主義掛帥,母親擔心M 課業不佳,會影響她未來的前途,所以停止練習;(三)台北市韻律體操界欠缺積極的訓練計畫,在師資與場地不足情況下,造成台北市韻律體操選手嚴重流失;(四)年輕的體操教練的教學方式,讓選手無法適應,間接影響選手繼續參與訓練的熱誠。呼籲台北市政府多重視基層運動選手的培育工作,能夠思索擬定出更完臻周全的培訓計畫,選手需要更多元的升學辦法,才能專注於訓練。也提醒教練們,今後在訓練選手時,要多加強與選手的互動,留意表達的技巧與選手的內心想法。

It is well known that, for years, the players of rhythmical gymnastics from Mainland China, Japan and Korea have good performance and achievement in the international competitions of rhythmical gymnastics. In this paper, observation and more profound interview will be applied as the research methods. The object of the research is a talented rhythmical gymnastics player, M, who once was a winner of 7 gold medals. The player's mother and the teacher are also interviewed, as the other two aspects in this triangular way of investigation. The survey session in this case took four months, from November 2003 to March 2004. The major focuses are on the in-person observation, interview, and collection of related information and documents for research. In this case study, we find four possible reasons for the training discontinuance: (i) The high cost of training fee: This is the major reason for M to opt out of the training. (ii) The belief in the importance and necessity of entering higher grade schools in the society: The mother is afraid that such training courses will affect M’s academic performance, which would influence her future career. (iii) The lack of positive and effective training projects organized or supported by Taipei municipality: Not enough qualified instructors, and training grounds and facilities failed to keep the athletes. (iv) The ways of teaching / training by the young gymnastic instructors: Their teaching methodology somehow indirectly declined players' enthusiasm to continue their participation in the training program. In the last part of this paper, we would like to appeal that the Taipei municipality should pay more attention to the cultivation of athletes in the primary level, and organize more comprehensive and effective training projects. Moreover, there should be more methods to help and channels for the athletes to enter into higher education, which would absolutely make them concentrate more on their training. We also want to suggest instructors/coaches to improve their skills of communication. We believe that more intercommunication with athletes and attention to how they really feel will help build up a better link between the instructors and training receivers, which will lead to a more satisfactory training accomplishment.
