本研究旨在探討國民中學校長轉型領導與體育教師工作士氣之間的關係,並探討校長轉型領導對於體育教師工作士氣之預測情形。本研究以花蓮縣國民中學體育教師為研究對象,以「花蓮縣國民中學校長轉型領導與體育教師工作士氣關係之調查問卷」為研究工具,共發出研究問卷85份,回收有效問卷72份,有效問卷回收率為84.71%,問卷結果以SPSS統計軟體進行統計分析,得到以下結論: 一、花蓮縣國民中學體育教師整體知覺到校長中上程度之轉型領導行為。 二、花蓮縣國民中學體育教師之整體工作士氣屬於中上程度。 三、不同「教學年資」與「擔任職務」之體育教師,所知覺之校長轉型領導有顯著差異。 四、不同「性別」與「擔任職務」之體育教師,在工作士氣之部分層面有顯著差異。 五、花蓮縣國民中學校長轉型領導之「個別關懷」、「魅力領導」、「願景提出」等三個層面共可以解釋體育教師整體工作士氣之37.59%,其中又以校長轉型領導之「個別關懷」層面有最大的解釋力。 最後透過研究結果之分析與討論,提出研究建議,以提供校長運用轉型領導之建議,並提供教育行政主管機關訂定相關政策之參考。
The objective of this study was to understand the relationship between the principals' transformational leadership and PE teachers' morale in junior high schools in Hualien, and to explore predictive power of principals' transformational leadership on PE teachers' morale. This study employed the survey method. Eighty-five PE teachers were selected in junior high schools in Hualien, with the return of 72 questionnaires. The amount of the valid questionnaires stands for 84.71% of the total amount of the questionnaires those were distributed. The survey data was analyzed by using statistical methods of percentile, mean, standard deviation, one-way ANOVA and stepwise multiple regressions. The findings of the study are as follows: 1. The level of PE teachers' perception of principals' transformational leadership is upper-intermediate in Hualien. 2. The level of PE teachers' morale is upper-intermediate in Hualien. 3. The perception of transformational leadership of principals was affected by the years of the teaching of the PE teachers, as well as PE teachers' duty. 4. The morale of PE teachers was affected by PE teachers' gender, as well as PE teachers' duty. 5. Some parts of principals' transformational leadership have significant predictability on PE teachers' morale, especially the variable of 'individual concern' shows the highest predictability. In the end, with an expectation that further analyses in accordance with the result of this research can be engaged to induce some suggestions for principals' leading strategies and as references for some educational administration to establish the educational policy thereafter.
