鸞堂善書之著造－以省躬社聖化堂《普化群迷》為觀察中心

Editing Spirit Writing: Reflections on the editing of Puhua qunmi published by the Shenghua Temple in Tainan

摘要

南府省躬社聖化堂主祀關聖帝君，並供奉南宮孚佑君呂恩主、金闕上相太白金星李恩主等神祇。創建於明治三十五年（1902），為台南市灣裡地區第一座鸞堂。日治時期名為省躬社，戰後更名為聖化堂，曾出版《育心明善》等五冊善書。旨歸三教，皆扶鸞勸善之詩文。民國九十四年（2005）又出版《普化群迷》，由筆者擔任校正生工作，司職扶鸞詩文之編修潤飾。期間歷經校正生之選拔、詩文校正之考驗與完稿的壓力、功成獎賞等歷程，在在皆珍貴體驗。其觀察紀錄，適足以揭開扶鸞與善書的神秘面紗。

The Shenghua Hall was erected in the Wanli district of Tainan in 1902 as a place for propagating the teaching of the classics. It honoured the God of War (Guangong), the immortal, Lü Dongbin, and Lord Li. Under Japanese rule it changed its name to Shenggong She. After the Japanese left, it took the name Shenghua Tang. Between 1959 and 1967 the Hall published five books of good advice based on spirit writing. Twenty five years later, in 2005, a sixth book was published, for which the author of this article served as editor. Her work as editor enables her to reflect on the nature of this type of literature and the role of the editor in compiling it.
