摘要

面對出版形態、傳遞以及訂閱方式均有別於傳統紙本期刊的網路電子期刊，圖書館實有必要建立一套評估網路電子期刊的標準，作為選擇網路電子期刊之依據，以提供讀者新穎正確的資訊。由於生物醫學類科讀者對資訊需求殷切，因此，本文擬以網路醫學電子期刊為對象，探討圖書館評估網路電子期刊之要素。經由研究分析的結果獲得評估網路電子期刊的要項包括：權威性、適用性、完整性、參考性與研究價值、時效性、易讀性、可用性、檢索功能、許可協議制度、館藏收藏該類主題之現況、他處可得性等十一大項。

When facing the networked electronic journals that the publish type, transmission and order method are different from the traditional printed journals, it is necessary for the library to establish a standard for evaluating and making decisions for acquiring the networked electronic journals to offer user new and correct information. The checklist for evaluation of electronic journal on network contains eleven elements: authority, completeness, suitability, reference and research valuation, currency, readability, usability, search function, license agreement, existing collection of the subject, and other places where they are available.
