Ci, a kind of Chinese poetry which format is strict, is composed of intonation. The poets choose its Ci-Pai by the intonation, and choose its rhyme by the intonation. Its intonation and phrases must be assorted with each other. This condition must be strictly obeyed. The number of words in Ci is constant, the sentence types in Ci are constant, and the cadences in Ci are constant. Su Shih and Hsin Chi Chis' break traditional music barrier in ”Shui Lung Yin”. Their works are not limited in one form. They usually write Ci with outstanding individual characteristics and unconstrained languages. Their works can break a basic form. Their works are entirely new creations. Their works aren't restricted to the original cadences. Actually, they are not the poets who have no notion of the cadences in Ci, their works are affected by their temperaments. The contents and topics of Su Shih and Hsin Chi Chis' works in ”Shui Lung Yin” are abundant. The two poets can break the old rut of gorgeous forms, no matter writing views, singing things, expressing emotions and life ambitions, and integrate personal lives into their works in Ci. We will know, Su Shih's posture is so outstanding, and Hsin Chi Chis' posture is so bold and unconstrained.
