鄭注《禮記》中「讀為」、「讀曰」等訓詁術語釋疑

The Clarification of Exegetic Terms about "Du Wei" and "Du Yue" in Zheng Xuan's Annotation on Li Ji

摘要


本文旨在利用段玉裁以至近世諸學者對「讀為、讀曰」、「讀如、讀若」等訓詁術語之闡釋,考察這些術語是否能在鄭注《禮記》中得到理論性的驗證。經過檢驗,足能發現若干未能完全契合的例外之處。是筆者擬將這些例外的句式細歸納成五類,再區別成三組作分別討論。一方面引舉學術界的普遍共識,一方面佐以同時代或後世的許慎、陸德明、孔穎達等人之說解,擬配在鄭玄的訓詁方式上,利用這般綜合性的討論與釋疑,藉以提點鄭玄及後世諸學者所論,是否尚有修正或補充之處,更盼能據此要顯訓詁學科在判讀古籍中的價值!

The purpose of this essay is to utilize the elucidation of Duan Yucai and other contemporary scholars for such exegetic terminologies as ”Du Wei,” ”Du Yue,” ”Du Ru,” and ”Du Ruo” to explore whether these terms can be theoretically verified in Zheng Xuan's annotation on Li Ji. Through discreet examination and verification, I am capable of discovering few exceptions which can not coincide with above-mentioned exegetic terminologies. Therefore, the author intends to classify these exceptions into five categories, and then divide them into three groups for discussion respectively. For one thing, I will give some concrete examples of universally scholastic consensus. For another, I will employ some explanations of contemporary or late scholars as Han Xu, Lu Deming, and Kong Yingda, based on the foundation of Zheng Xuan's exegetic methods, to achieve comprehensive discussion and clarification and to expect to remind the readers to make sense of the contentions of Zheng Xuan and late scholars. Whether these great scholars’ arguments leave much to be desired or not, I sincerely hope that I can make every effort to display exegesis of great value in judging ancient books.
