從理一分殊到心統性情－伊川與朱子經學及理學思想結構之不同

摘要

本文主旨在於從伊川與朱子對《易》與《春秋》經解的不同，來檢視二人在理學思想結構中的不同。本文認為朱子對伊川理學最大的轉化在於將理學結構的重心點由「形上靜態之性理」轉移到「形下主動之心」。伊川思想肯定一個永恆不變的理性原則，朱子則相對的較注意人對事物能「知明處當」之心。伊川主張「理一分殊」，直接以形上「性理」來統攝分殊的「物」。伊川將「心」上接於形上之性理，因此相對於朱子，伊川的哲學體系中明顯的較缺乏能主宰活動方向的「心」。朱子則主張「心統性情」，以「心」為主，上稟於「性」之理，而下以主「物」之動。這個差異性顯示出朱子將理學結構的主軸落在主動性之「心」，而不是形上靜態之性理。另外，本文發現以《老子》第51章「道生之，德畜之，物形之」的三個天道層次正好可以方便做為分析程、朱之異的坐標。本文認為《老子》書中「道」與「物」分別代表「做為萬物根據的形上本體」與「被創造出來的現象界」，而「德」則代表介乎二者之間的「創造的方向性與能動性」。伊川主要以「道」統攝「物」，而忽略了「德」的地位；朱子則較重視「德」對於「物」的調御。而「德」正好可以對應朱子「心統性情」中的「心」。本文認為程、朱在經學觀念上的歧異源自於其理學思想結構上對「心」的定位之不同。

This article focuses on different interpretations to ”The book of Changes” (易經) and ”Spring and Autumn Annals” (春秋) from Yi-Chuan (伊川) and Zhu-tzu. (朱子) The origin of such various meanings based on different focuses that Yi-Chuan on static metaphysics Reason and Zhu-tzu on initiative Mind. Yi-Chuan stood on unchangeable transcendent Reason. So everything, including Mind, should submit to the highest standard. But Zhu-tzu asserted that Mind covered the highest nature and secular sentiment. Human being's Mind, Which can think and dominate, ought to be the core of human life and even the whole universe. The different view points about Mind between Yi-Chuan and Zhu-tzu promoted distinct interpretations to ”The book of Changes” and ”Spring and Autumn Annals”. In this article, Dao (supreme noumenon 道), De(universe circulation 德) and Secular matters (物), emerged from 51 chapter of Lao-tzu, were quoted to compared with Nature (性), Mind (心) and Sentiment (情) which were the three gradations in the neo-Confucianism system of Yi-Chuan and Zhu-tzu.
