唐代小說故事衍生的文創產業—以現代霹靂布袋戲為例

Cultural Creative Industry and its Relation to Tang Legendary Novels-A Study on Pili Puppet Drama

摘要


小說故事之所以茁壯有若與時俱變的特色,陳鴻長恨歌傳與白居易的長恨歌幾經流傳,由〈梧桐兩〉而〈長生殿〉而〈貴妃醉酒〉,每個時代都有不同的詮釋,也都能在當代發光發熱。唐代傳奇小說具有頗為成熟的風貌,許多充滿美麗懸想的故事屢屢成為發想的典範。本文擬從現代文創產業霹靂布袋戲,理出唐代小說潛伏的質性,分析現代戲劇如何更細膩的傳達此一精神。而分析的重點則偏重在形體與空間的變異,人物與場景是小說中除了故事以外的核心,人物提供形體變異的素胎,場景則是空間變異的母體,人物與空間處理更是現代戲劇的重要課題,也是本文主要的切入點。換言之,人物與空間是探討對象,變異分析則是主要內容。

The Tang Dynasty is considered to be the golden age of Chinese Literature. Short story fiction and legendary tales were most popular during the Tang. The legendary tales had reached its mature form that consisted of drama skills like story-telling and narratives. It therefore placed a deep influence on modern Chinese drama and opera. My thesis study will focus on the cultural value and creative strategy of Pili puppet drama in Taiwan, which derives from its influence from the Tang Legendary tales. My paper analyzes two important elements from Tang Legendary Novels that widely are applied in the presentation of Pili Puppet Drama: new figuration of characters, and transformation of space.
