In the ancient Paiwan community existed a noble family and the tribe was led unitarily by Mamazangiljang but with the evolution of the epoch , the traditional system confront a challenge from modern culture, especially for the intervention of foreign organization For example the invasion of Japanese colonialism during the time of Japanese dominion the establishment of democracy during the times of R.O.C and the evangelization of foreign religion weakened the power of the noble family , Paiwan people is an tribe which not hard to succumb 、they are pleased to sec the transformation of the society in the period of transition ,but now the Paiwancse conscious of the hardship have initiated from the foundation of our tribe and they try to look back for the method which our ancestors maintained our national life and protected the Paiwancse culture from disappearance At the present time , the Paiwancse have faded from their memory the importance of their culture in the national existence. Therefore, I write this article to remind Paiwancse of respecting the cultural heritage reserved by their ancestors.
What is the structure of the authority in the ancient Paiwan community? What is the evolution after the intervention of national system? This text confers deeply the people who have different family background, different educational background and different ages, and also refers to some relative documents. I also try to realize the outsiders' opinions about the evolution in the structure of the Paiwanese authority in order to collect extensively the deep thoughts about the discussion in all aspects.
For the phenomenon of the evolution in the structure of the Paiwanese authority, I use the method of ultimate analysis to compare the change of power remained in the old society according to the development in the structure of the Paiwanese authority, reason of variation will subsume the range of my research to let people understand the plight which Mamazangiljang confront and the way to deal with. Finally, I would like to arrange the thoughts and the common expect that Paiwanese all have, and look forward to holding the quintessence of the culture to increase the life of our tribe!
