摘要

Purpose: To explore the factors associated with the effectiveness of the physical therapy on the shoulder pain in the rehabilitation department of a hospitalin southern Taiwan. Methods: Objects were 53 patients of the case hospital who received physical therapies. The effectivenesses of theracpies were measured by the numeriac rating scale (NRS). Results: NRS scores indicated that pain scores were significantly lower (P<0.001)after physical therapies. Discussion and suggestions: Since the physical therapies had successfully improved the shoulder pains, we suggested this method could be applied with other rehabilitation techniques for better results. We also suggested employing more other than one single physical therapy for shoulder pains, and better to accompany with causal physical exercise.
