The purpose of this study was to discuss the circumstances of Kaohsiung City junior high school students' leisure constraints. Stratified random cluster sampling was used to carry out investigation, and 926 valid samples had been obtained. Moreover, statistical methods such as descriptive statistic analysis, factor analysis, t-test (independence samples), and one-way ANOVA were used to discuss how leisure constraints affect the junior high school students, and the difference between different background variables and leisure constraints. The obtained result is as follows:1. The constraint factors that junior high school students have when participating in leisure activities include external environment, friend and peer environment, leisure feeling, leisure skills of friends and peers, internal factor, and leisure skills orderly.2. There was no significant difference between the background factors of junior high school students and the overall leisure constraints, such factors include gender, grade, family's socioeconomic background, leisure expense, and schoolwork load.
