草坪草應用於運動球場之研究

摘要

近幾年來都會區發展迅速，休閒綠地之需求與日驟增，也使草坪綠地之使用、品質與管理逐漸受到重視。台灣地跨亞熱帶與熱帶地理區，各地區間自然條件差異極大，必須配合各地特性選用適當的草種，目前球場常見的草種以熱帶型草種為主，近年新建的球場以百慕達(Cynodon dactylon)草種為主，老球場則以結縷草(Zoysiaspp.)為主。而草坪品質的好壞，除了因選用之草種決定外，也受到氣候、土壤、草種栽培管理及病蟲害防治的影響。草坪實務管理是一門結合各項專業領域的跨領域管理科學，需要結合各領域的專家共同對草坪蟲害之有效防治，並避免施用過量化學藥劑或使用不當藥劑，而造成土壤及水質之污染，產生對地球生態的危害。這也是人類利用草坪草作為休閒運動、景觀綠化環境之餘，首要思考的最要議題。
