Empowerment is one of the most important tools to enhance employee trust in high-tech firms, however, facing the current problem of low level of trust in most firms, management could not enhance organizational trust only by empowering behavior, but need some kind of assistant methods to facilitate the effects of empowering. Based on the relationship of transformational leadership and empowerment, with the data from high-tech firms, this paper illustrates that transformational leadership could moderate the relationship between empowering behavior and employee trust. We also provide further research directions in the end.
