護理人員性健康照護觀點之初探－以高雄地區教學醫院為例

摘要

性健康照護是護理專業中的一環，但長期以來臺灣關於性健康照護之相關研究，較西方國家闕如。本研究目的為瞭解護理人員之性健康照護觀點及其相關性。以高雄地區五所區域教學醫院之護理人員進行立意取樣，並使用自建構之「性健康照護觀點量表」為工具，共收案239位。結果顯示護理人員整體的性健康照護觀點為中等以上正向。得分最高的次量表為「個人對性的看法」，最低為「提供性健康照護的自在程度」。整體性健康照護觀點與「對性的看法」、「提供性健康照護的自在程度」及「護理專業角色與職責」等三個構面均具有統計上顯著的正相關。以上結果及建構本土性健康照護觀點之測量問卷，可建立本土護理人員執行「性健康照護」之學術資源及臨床護理實務之應用。

Sexual health care is very important in nursing practice. Compared to Western countries, little attention has been given to sexual health care in Taiwan. The purpose of this study was to understand the viewpoints towards patients' sexual health care in nursing practice and its relationships. By using purposive sampling and the self-constructed native ”sexual health care viewpoint scale”, 239 subjects were recruited from 5 regional teaching hospitals in Kaohsiung.The results showed that the total sexual health care attitudes of nurses scored above average positively. The highest subscale score was ”personal viewpoints on human sexuality,” and the lowest subscale score was ”comfort degree on providing sexual health care”. There were statistically significant positive correlations on overall health care perspectives and among ”personal viewpoints on human sexuality,” ”comfort degree on providing sexual health care,” and ”nursing professional roles and responsibilities.”The results above and the constructed questionnaire on sexual health care attitudes for nurses in Taiwan can not only help in establishing academic resources but also be an important reference in providing sexual health care in local clinical nursing practice.
