摘要

實證護理對多數台灣護理人員而言，仍是一個陌生的名詞。在現今國內外醫療體系著重病人照顧品質及成本效益的趨勢下，具有實證基礎的照護決策逐漸成為改善照顧品質及降低成本的有效方針。何謂實證護理？那裡可找到相關資源？如何在病人身上運用實證基礎的照顧措施？這些可能是臨床護理人員常有的疑問，有些護理人員常將實證基礎實務(evidence-based practice)及研究基礎實務(research-based practice)兩個不同名詞混為一談。本文將針對實證護理的源起、重要性、定義、相關概念及資源做基本的介紹。(慈濟護理雜誌，2004；3：2，8-13.)

Evidence-based nursing is still an unfamiliar term to most of nurses in Taiwan. With the current trend on quality of patient care and cost-effectiveness around the world, clinical decision-making on evidence practice-based has become an effective approach to improve the quality of care and reduce cost of health care. What is evidence-based nursing? Where do we look for related resources? How do we apply evidence-based practice in patient care? Theses are the frequent questions that clinical nurses may ask. Some may confuse evidence-based practice with research-based practice. This article aims to introduce evidence-based nursing, its significance and definition, related concepts, and relevant resources.
