五專護理科學生關懷行為表現之探討

摘要

本研究目的在探討五專護理科五年級學生之關懷行為表現，採橫斷式研究設計以立意取樣方式選取台灣地區五所學校之學生為研究對象，研究工具為「關懷行為量表」(caring behavior scale, CBS)，以郵寄方式發出452份問卷，有效問卷總計287份，採SPSS12.0版進行統計資料分析，包括描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析、斯皮爾曼等級相關分析等方式進行檢測。研究結果發現：(l)學生關懷行為表現標準化得分為59.55，屬於中等程度；(2)關懷行為表現在幫助病人渡過疾病不平順的過程較佳，而病人權益的維護面向較差；(3)學生對於護理課程的興趣與關懷行為的表現有顯著正相關。顯示學生的關懷行為表現可藉由教育的過程加以提升，未來期望能應用護理教育過程傳遞護理的核心理念「關懷」，進而使學生展現關懷行為。

The purpose of this research was to explore the caring behavior of fifth grade nursing students within a junior college. This study adopted a cross- sectional, correlated design with a total of 287 participants. A purposive sampling technique was used. The Caring Behaviors Scale (CBS) was used as the research instrument to collect the data. SPSS 12.0 with descriptive statistics, Independent Samples t test, ANOVA and Spearman correlation analysis were used as the statistical strategies to answer the research question.
The results indicated that (1) The standardized CBS score was 59.55, which located at the medium degree of the overall sample; (2) Study participants achieved the highest scores for caring behavior when helping a patient through the illness trajectory dimension, and the lowest scores for the patient advocacy dimension; (3) Students' interest in the nursing curriculum and concerned behavior were significant, and positively related to their caring behavior score. These findings suggest that a 'caring concept' could be given through the nursing curriculum to improve students' caring behavior.
