摘要

本文是敘述協助一位外籍母親照顧罹患腸病毒住院幼兒的護理經驗，護理期間爲2007年10月2日至10月9日，藉由實際照護、會談、觀察等方式收集資料，運用整體性評估，確立個案的護理問題包括：(1)口腔黏膜障礙；(2)體溫過高；(3)恐懼；(4)照顧者角色緊張。筆者以治療性遊戲爲基礎，協助病童適應住院環境及配合各項護理活動，降低住院帶來的壓力，並提供外籍母親相關知識，增加對醫療過程的瞭解，減輕其焦慮，協助個案順利出院。

This article describes the nursing process while helping a foreign mother take care of a young child who had been admitted to hospital due to enteroviral infection; the period covered was from October 2(superscript nd) to October 9(superscript th), 2007. Information was collected by interview and observation. There were four major problems: firstly, damaged oral mucosa; secondly, high body temperature; thirdly, fear; and finally, the anxiety of the caregiver. We used therapeutic games to help the child become accustomed to the hospital setting and to increase the patient's willingness to participate in the nursing activities. The aim was to provide the child with integrated and continuous care as well as helping her mother understand the medical treatment course, which would decrease her anxiety. At the end of the treatment, the child was discharged in a stable condition.
