摘要

當代學者對於經絡與血管、植物神經功能關係的研究與認識，爲十二經脈理論內屬臟腑、外絡肢節的關係，賦予了現代醫學科學的解釋與相應性。因此經脈的生理功能與治病原理在針灸臨床診斷治療方面的應用，不論在古典經絡理論或現代經絡研究中，都有其不可撼動的地位。因此經絡診斷是現代針灸醫學在臟腑辨證之外，另一個更寬的思路，並且更能凸顯中國針灸醫學理、法、針、穴的特色。

The study of contemporary scholars on the relations among meridians and collaterals, blood vessels, and vegetative nerve functions has attached to modern medical science special explanation and collaboration, especially on the theory of the twelve meridians regarding the relations of viscera and bowels and their limbs. As a result, the theories and treatment methods of the physical functions of meridians have wide application on acupuncture diagnosis and treatment. It has established unshakable position not only in traditional but also modem meridian collateral study.
In addition to the viscera and bowels pattern identification, meridians and collateral diagnosis have undoubted offered wider way of thinking to the modern acupuncture. It also illustrates special characteristics in the principles, methods, and acupuncture and meridian points of Chineseacupuncture.
