橫斷性脊髓炎之中醫門診病例報告一例

A Case Report of Transverse Myelitis with Acupuncture and Acupoint Embedding Treatment

摘要

本案例為一名28歲女性，自述從小體虛，平時易感疲累，常易外感。其工作為病房之護理師，因其長期接觸病人，為避免被病人傳染流行性感冒病毒，故於每年流感之高峰期前，皆接受流感疫苗之注射，以預防流感，接受流感疫苗注射約一星期後，即出現手足力量不足、手指精細動作變差、走路時自覺腳步力量較小、手足麻木、項背僵硬活動不利等症狀。於是立刻前往本院神經內科門診就醫4次，經身體檢查及一系列相關之檢查後，被診斷為橫斷性脊髓炎。其後服用Prednisolone 5mg 2# QD，Fursultiamine (50mg)1# TID各28天，但手足力量不足及麻木之情況仍在，故至本院中醫部就診，希冀能得到進一步之治療。在經過三階段共14次的針灸及穴位埋線的治療後，手足無力及麻木的情況獲得不錯的改善。兩下肢肌力由4分變為5分，兩下肢由原本的感到麻木變為無麻木感，兩上肢肌力由3分變為4分，兩上肢麻木感減，手指能做精細動作（能扣鈕扣）。

This case is a 28 year old woman patient who is usually susceptible to fatigue and being easily exogenous. She is a nurse. To avoid being infected with influenza virus, she received influenza vaccination. About one week later, her hands and feet appeared weak and numbness. So she went to neurology OPD in our hospital and the doctor gave her some medicine: 1. Prednisolone 5mg 2 # QD 2. Fursultiamine (50mg) 1 # TID. After 28 days, the strength of her hands and feet is still insufficient and numbnese remains. So she came to traditional chinese medicine department for help. After 14 times of acupuncture and acupoint embedding treatment, she got a good prognosis in strength and sensation of hands and feet.
