Many treatment modalities have been suggested for lumbar disc herniation. It was concluded that both surgical and non-surgical treatments tend to help patients with pain from a lumbar disc herniation. About 90% of patients treated nonsurgically reported substantially improvement in their symptom. A 33 year old patient who had undergone the alternative medical treatment had well relieved in symptoms of low back pain. And it was found that the patient became functional normal over an 8 days hospitalization. At 1-year follow-up, it was shown that his predominant symptom (low back pain) dose not recurrent.
