花蓮港長浪特性試驗探討

A Discussion on Experimental Studies of Long Period Oscillations in Hwa-Lien Harbor

摘要


本文綜合港灣技術研究中心於1996、1997及2000年所執行有關花蓮港港池振盪的研究計畫水工模型試驗成果部份,進行彙整及討論。至目前為止,有關花蓮港長週期振盪多認為集中於颱風作用時期,而改善的構想則大致有:破壞入射波的波場結構、削減入射波能、以及消散港內的長波能量。然而由這三個計畫試驗結果發現,在任何方向的不規則波作用下,不論波浪的主頻為何,港內都會發生某一程度的長週期振盪。顯示其發生機制中,波浪的主頻相關性不大,而波浪能量可能僅是增幅的作用;並非颱風波浪作用才會發生長週期振盪。港池的形狀與包含外海的水深地形也可能是主要的因素,但確實的發生機制仍有待進一步的研究。

This study collected and discussed the results of three hydraulic model tests of long period oscillations in Hwa-Lien Harbor, conducted by Center of Harbor and Marine Technology in 1996, 1997 and 2000. The concepts for the long period oscillation improvement in Hwa-Lien Harbor include destroying the wave field structure of the incident waves, reducing the incident wave energy, and dissipating the energy of long period wave in the harbor. The investigations show that long period oscillations always exist in any random wave case, not just in typhoon periods. The primary incident wave period has a minor effect on the long period oscillations in Hwa-Lien Harbor, and the incident wave energy merely acts as an amplifier affecting the magnitude of the oscillations. Harbor layout and the topography around the harbor might be the major influence factors and further studies are required.
