摘要


交通部運輸研究所為協助提昇馬祖海域之航行及遊憩安全,延續金門水域海象預報系統之建置後,配合已經作業化的港灣環境資訊網,增加馬祖地區海域的海象觀測及預報模式等作業。其目標係進行每日的馬祖四鄉五島水域之風浪及潮流之預報,並配合現場即時波潮流觀測系統之資料整理與發佈,以提供當地從事海上航行或海上活動之參考,進而提升其安全與預警效能。本文係針對整個建置過程及其應用,與所遭遇之問題及解決方法做一簡要說明。後續如果併入交通部運輸研究所的臺灣港灣環境資訊網,則可明顯提升海域及近海航行安全。

Follow up the establishment of Kinmen Oceanography Prediction System (KOPS), the Institute of Transportation, Ministry of Transportation and Communications (IHMT) have promoted to establish a forecast system named as Matsu Oceanography Prediction System (MOPS) about waves and tidal current conditions, and a field observation system around Matsu water zone to enhance the safety of marine transportations and costal recreation. In this project, the major target is to establish and enhance the MOPS systems. The major works include the setups of wave prediction mdoel and tidal current prediction model, and the statistical analysis of field observation data. Merging into the Harbor Environmental Information Website run by IHMT, the MOPS can offer waves and tidal current and level information to public marine transportation for their safety concern.
