摘要

癌症臨床試驗是運用於人體試驗癌症新藥或新的治療方式，過去的二十多年中，臨床試驗的蓬勃進行帶給了癌症治療長足的進步，由於參與臨床試驗的病人數與日俱增，因而，腫瘤護理人員在此臨床試驗中扮演的角色與職責不可忽略。參予臨床試驗的腫瘤護理人員包含有研究護士、資料處理員、臨床護士、專科護理師、及護理研究者，依據他們在臨床試驗中的定位有其不同的角色與職責，包括尋求符合試驗需求的個案，協助取得病患受試者同意書，安排定期的檢查治療及病患反應的追蹤，記錄藥物的劑量、副作用、及毒性，收集及組織資料，記錄保存文件，監測進案，和執行稽核作業等職責。
本文針對癌症臨床試驗護理人員角色及功能作深入探討，以利眾多護理人員更瞭解癌症臨床試驗護理之內涵，期望可提昇整體臨床癌症照顧之品質，尤其是對於參與臨床試驗之病人之支持。

The impact of new drugs or new treatment modalities can only be determined through well administered randomized clinical trials.
The research nurse plays a key role in clinical trial management, from patient registration to ensuring appropriate treatment administration and performance timely investigation, collection and interpretation of data.
In a brood sense, the oncology nurse includes research nurses, data managers, staff nurses, advanced practice nurses, and nurse researchers, all playing integrative and supportive roles to ensure smooth running of clinical trials.
Oncology nursing has evolved into a nursing subspecialty in Taiwan but still to be recognized officially. Oncology nurses play an essential role in clinical trial administration, we would like to discuss the role oncology nurses play in Taiwan.
