摘要

糖廠目前面臨的問題，固然有著糖價、營收、損益等問題，但在各種突破新局的努力前，更應該先問：一個產業如何掌握新時代的趨勢？面對新時代的發展趨勢，未來糖廠要思考的是如何將新文化、新產業、與產業文化資產此三者進行共生創造。在避免忽略產業文化內涵、避免流於形式主義、及避免員工不知自我轉化等問題後，透過「如何讓糖廠成為產業文化資產」的努力，致力於挖掘糖業文化的內涵與智慧，從而透過發揚糖廠智慧的過程，把握種種古老的產業文化元素，轉化成新的以新文化為發展主軸的新產業。

Facing new developments in their field, sugar factories should create a new culture, a new industry and a new industrial cultural heritage. By making sugar factories into examples of industrial cultural heritage and avoiding the problems of ignoring the contents of industrial culture, restricting to formalism and being unaware of employees' self-conversion, the contents and wisdom of the sugar culture should be further explored, By promoting the conversion of sugar plants from the old industrial heritage elements to those of a new industry, a new culture is born.
