論雕版印刷術之發展因素及其影響

摘要

印刷術在人類文明的發展與文化傳播上，佔有不可輕忽的地位，而雕版印刷術更是啟蒙印刷技術使其不斷發揚與改良的馬首先驅。因此，研究雕版印刷的發展因素及其影響的議題便顯得重要。本文探討物質的條件配合（如紙張、墨色及石板文字等），以及文明發展的需求渴望（如知識傳播•宗教救贖以及政治權力的介入等等）這兩大範疇加以整理與分析，並希望能從這些整理說明中，可以令人更了解與印證有關雕版印刷術在中國文化的演進過程裡，除了知識的廣佈傳播外，更在其他舉如藝術、美學、思想以及國際交流等多方面的提昇與開放，具有非常深遠的影響。

The importance of printing in human cultural development and communication should not be ignored. The woodblock printing is the starling point for the improvement of printing techniques. Thus, the researches on the developed factors and effect of woodblock printing are obviously important. This article tried to discuss from material conditions, such as paper, ink…etc. and psychological demands, such as knowledge conveyance, religious salvation…etc. to analyze and regulate that woodblock printing conveyed not only knowledge, but also had great impact on improvement and opening of art, aesthetics, thoughts and international exchanges in the process of Chinese cultural evolution.
