科技博物館互動性展品之設計製作初探

摘要

本文主旨在探討台灣公立博物館進行展示設計製作時，執行單位及人員可能遭遇之問題，尤其是國內廠商對於互動性展品製作能力之探討，並以國立科學工藝博物館兒童科學園展示廳更新為例。探討問題包括常設展示重新所需的資源問題、時間壓力及投入人力問題“廠商之科學展品設計製作經驗、展品呈現及包裝、法規限制及經費限制問題、廠驗的重要性、廠商製作能力的提升、試運轉的重要性及維修手冊編撰能力等。要解決這些問題當然不容易，除了政府能對博物館的社教功能史加重視外，博物館本身執行展示業務的人員，對於展示設計及製作須抱著嚴謹且積極的處理態度，重重要的是國內的展示設計製作廠商也能擴大其視野，加強其設計及製作之能力，才能提升國人自製展品品質，吸引重多民眾入館參觀。

The purpose of this article is to discuss the issues which the execution units and the museum staffs may confront during the process of making exhibitions in the public museums of Taiwan. It focuses especially on the production abilities for interactive exhibitions of the domestic manufacturers and uses the renewal of the exhibition hall ”Children's Science Center” at the National Science and Technology Museum as an example. It also discusses the issues which may involve
in the exhibition renewal, such as required resources, time pressure, staff devotion, experiences and capability of the manufacturers, exhibilions display and packng, law restrictions, budgets, The importance of exhibition tests and trials and the editing of maintenance manuals. It is certainty difficult to solve these problems, in order to improve the siluation, the government should concern more about the social educational functions of The museums, the museum exhibition staffs should have more positive and precise attitudes for designing and producing exhibitions and the domestic manufacturers should expand their views and reinforce their capability to improve the exhibition qualities. Thus, more visitors can be attracted to the museums.
