參加開放式典藏庫文物維護工作坊學員之學習經驗

The Participants' Learning Experiences from the Collection Conservation Workshops at the Open Storage

摘要


國立科學工藝博物館為臺灣第一個成立開放式典藏庫常設展的博物館,並於其中舉辦文物維護相關教育活動,一方面做為文物修復人員之培育與訓練,另一方面更希望藉由此活動的展演,和現場觀眾做互動,讓前來參觀的民眾可以了解到博物館於文物保存維護方面的相關作業與典藏的用意,及博物館較不為人知的一面。本研究採質性研究之訪談法,訪談參與此活動的15位學員,了解在此空間下進行文物修護的學習經驗與心得,並可作為往後類似活動之參考。

The National Science Technology Museum (NSTM), Kaohsiung, Taiwan, is the first museum sets up ”the Open Storage” as a permanent exhibition in which conservational education programs as trainings for conservators are held. The students who attend the educational programs not only learn the restoration and preservation of collections, but also act as performers in the storage to show how to preserve museum collections. The NSTM wants to use the program to interact with the visitors and to convey the idea that the museum is not only to hold exhibitions but also takes care of cultural relics. This study on the educational workshop at the Open Storage of the NSTM is a qualitative research which information was gathered by interviews with 15 students in order to find out their reflection and experiences of the education programs.
