科學博物館執行當代蒐藏之探討─以國立科學工藝博物館為例

科學博物館在全球化與網路科技普及的時代，其研究、蒐藏、展示、與教育目標，著重在搭起科學與觀眾間的橋梁，以博物館作為平台，向人們傳達科學知識與技術發明，進而引發科學研究的動機與進步。博物館的營運以館藏為重心，面對當今社會發生的重要時刻、運動、事件，當代蒐藏成為近期博物館一重要議題，不少博物館不再只蒐藏古物，企圖更進一步保存蒐集第一手資料及物件，記錄現今社會所發生的特定重要事件。科學博物館除了積極關心當代科技相關的議題，藉由蒐藏品可否彰顯科技與人的關係呢？科技產物快速變遷，博物館不全然以「經濟價值」或「時間價值」作為判斷蒐藏文物的主要考量，在既有典藏政策之下，科學博物館如何引介社會資源，增加外界與博物館的合作關係。本文以國立科學工藝博物館與經濟部智慧財產局合作的實務案例，分享執行當代蒐藏之程序與成果，及探討徵集過程產生的問題，並據以提出建議與結論。

In the era of globalization and internet technology popularization, the research, collections, exhibitions, and educational objectives of science museums focus on bridging science and audiences. With museums as the platforms, scientific knowledge and technological inventions can be conveyed to people, thus arousing the motivation and advancement of scientific research. Museum operations focus on exhibits. In the face of major moments, movements, and events occurring in today's society, contemporary collections have become important current issues for museums. Instead of just collecting antiquities, museums also attempt to further preserve and collect first-hand data and objects, as well as recording specific major events taking place in today's society. In addition to actively showing concern about contemporary technology related issues, the collectibles highlight the relationship between technology and man. With the rapidly changing technological objects, "economic value" or "time value" are no longer the main considerations for museums in determining the collection of cultural relics. Under existing archiving policies, how can a science museum introduce social resources and facilitate an enhanced partnership between the outside and the museum? In this paper, through a case study on cooperation between the National Science and Technology Museum and the Intellectual Property Office, Ministry of Economic Affairs, R.O.C., the procedures and results of contemporary collection implementations were shared. The problems arising during the solicitation process were also explored to put forward recommendations and conclusions accordingly.
