The second literature award of ”China Times” set up the narrative poetry award in 1979. Until 1982, they solicited contributions for four years together. Because of excellent bonus, and a million of daily circulation, ”China Times” had driven the creation agitation of narrative poetry virtually. There is actually little relevant research about this topic at present. This paper is trying to point out that there is great relation with social agitation in the seventies and the approach of editor-in-chief of literary supplement Kao Hsin-chiang about the establishment rewarded in ”China Times” narrative poetry. The four-year long award-winning works which constructing of its aesthetics vitally interrelated with the society pulses, also developing a unique form aesthetics of narrative poetry, may well be termed the interlocking of reality and aesthetics.
