臺北地區大學教師生活品質之研究

摘要

本研究旨在瞭解臺北地區大學院校教師生活品質之現況及其影響因素。研究採「調查法」，以「分層隨機」取樣的方式抽取臺北地區大學院校教師為研究對象，正式施測樣本為600份，實得有效樣本422份，有效回收率達70.3％。研究工具包括兩部份：「個人背景資料調查表」及「生活品質量表」。所得資料分別以：描述性統計、t檢定、單因子變異數分析、薛費事後檢定、皮爾遜積差相關及多元迴歸等統計方法進行分析。主要研究結果如下：1. 臺北地區大學院校教師之「生活品質」傾向於中等程度良好之狀況，其中以「社會關係範疇」之生活品質為最佳。2. 臺北地區大學院校教師之「生活品質」會因性別、年齡、職稱及教育程度之不同而有顯著差異。其中，男性、年齡較長、教授及具博士學位教師，其整體生活品質顯著優於女性、年齡較輕、講師及碩士學位教師。3. 臺北地區大學院校教師之「生活品質」會因任教學校、任教年資、規劃升等、指導學生及擔任職務之不同而有顯著差異。其中，國立大學、年資較深、有指導學生、已升等為教授及專任教師之教師，其整體「生活品質」顯著優於私立技職院校、年資較淺、無指導學生、有規劃升等及同時兼任導師與行政工作之教師。根據上述研究結果，對大學院校教師、學校等方面提出具體建議，期能提供大學院校教師生活品質提昇之參考。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the university faculties' quality of life. This study used survey method, and stratified random sampling. Samples was collected from university faculties in Taipei Area. Total samples were 600 teachers, valid returned were 422 (70.3%). The questionnaire consisted of two sections: ”Personal Background Questionnaire” and ”Quality of Life Scale”. The statistical analysis using in this study included descriptive statistical, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe' test. The major findings of the study were as follows: 1.The quality of life for university faculties in Taipei Area tended to be a ”medium-good” situation. 2. There was a significant relationship between ”quality of life” and ”personal background characteristics”, such as: ”gender”, ”age”, ”job title”, ”education background”. 3. There was a significant difference between ”quality of life” and ”work background characteristics”, such as: ”type of school”, ”teaching seniority”, ”academic tenure plan”, ”student guidance”, ”position”. According to the findings, this study provides specific suggestions to the university faculties, schools, and educational administration departments.
