摘要

本文描述台灣近五十年來的人口、婚姻、家庭三個重要面向的變遷，指出臺灣社會在這些面向上變遷的快速；針對這三個面向所引發的人口新趨勢，包括人口老化、少子化、單親家庭、與外籍通婚作政策上的建議與思考。除了強調針對這些新人口趨勢與特質，來分析其特殊性脈絡與未來可能發展；也呼籲社福政策應有長期的規劃，並隨時間審慎調整；除了財政考量乃為現實問題，尤其應針對當下人口特質與未來人口趨勢，未雨綢繆。

The paper summarized the results of past researches of the author. At the beginning, the author briefly described the demographical trend in Taiwan over the past five decades. In the Second and the Third Sections, the changes in marriages and families were discussed respectively. Finally, the authors pointed out a few policy implications derived from the newly demographical trends such as aging, declining birth rates, increasing single-parent families as well as cross-societal marriages.
