醫事放射師肌肉骨骼不適與職業疲勞、心智負荷相關性研究

A Study on the Mental Workload, Burnout, and Musculoskeletal Disorders among Medical Radiologic Technologists

摘要


本研究以醫事放射師為對象,探討職業疲勞與心智負荷對於肌肉骨骼不適程度是否具有影響。以主觀自覺北歐肌肉骨骼問卷(NMQ)、職場疲勞量表及美國航空太空總署作業負荷指標法(NASA-TLX)進行調查79位醫事放射師,結果發現高達92.4%反映有肌肉骨骼不適狀況,主要不適部位在腰或下背部位(72.2%)、頸和肩部(51.9%)、手部和手腕(39.2%);在心智負荷狀況,心智需求1.353±0.588、體力需求1.018±0.569、時間需求1.089±0.573、自我表現1.584±0.604、努力1.371±0.574、挫折程度0.427±0.412,心智負荷總分6.842±1.388,心智負荷程度是處在中度以上;在職業疲勞量表四個分量表得分狀況,個人疲勞37.7±19.3分、工作疲勞33.7±18.0分、服務對象疲勞29.5±18.9分、工作過度投入37.3±18.9分。而肌肉骨骼不適與其心智需求(r=-.254)、時間需求(r=.299)、個人疲勞(r=.290)及工作疲勞(r=.232)是呈現顯著低度相關。建議管理者宜須重新檢視放射師作業內容,可依工作任務繁瑣程度適宜調配作業人力與內容,降低疲勞與心智負荷上程度,避免引發肌肉骨骼不適可能性。

This study examined the effect of mental workload and burnout on musculoskeletal disorders among medical radiologic technologists. The Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ), the Occupational Burnout Inventory and the NASA-Task Load index scale was used to investigate 79 medical radiologic technologists. The results indicated that 92.4% of the sample consciously felt musculoskeletal discomfort. The top three uncomfortable parts of the musculoskeletal system were the lower back (72.2%), neck and shoulder (51.9%), and hand and wrist (39.2%). The scores of mental demand, physical demand, temporal demand, own performance, effort, and frustration level were 1.353 ± 0.588, 1.018 ± 0.569, 1.089 ± 0.573, 1.584 ± 0.604, 1.371 ± 0.574, and 0.427 ± 0.412, respectively. The mental workload data was 6.84 ± 1.388 calculated by summing the six items and meant that loading degrees were above moderate. The highest department was cardiac catheter (8.103 ± 0.299), followed radiology (6.825 ± 1.212), radiation oncology (6.732 ± 1.774), and the department of nuclear medicine (6.494 ± 1.219). Another sheet is the Occupational Burnout Inventory. The results of the Occupational Burnout Inventory showed that the scores of personal burnout, work-related burnout, client-related burnout, and over-commitment to work were 37.7 ± 19.3, 33.7 ± 18.0, 29.5 ± 18.9, and 37.3 ± 18.9, respectively. A correlation was found between the Occupational Burnout Inventory, mental workload, and musculoskeletal disorders-related factors. The mental demand has a negative correlation with musculoskeletal disorders (r=-.254), whereas the temporal demand has a positive correlation (r=.299).On the other hand, musculoskeletal disorders have a positive correlation with both personal and work-related burnout, and the correlation coefficients were .290 and .232, respectively. Researchers strongly recommend preventing musculoskeletal disorders and suggest that medical radiologic technologists take occasional breaks during work, to both regulate operation mode and reduce their burnout and mental load.
