Integration of Body, Mind and Spirit from the Perspective of Emotional Care for Nursing Personnel

This study is based on the experiences of She Xue-Hong, a registered nurse with 25 years of experience who went on to study and teach yoga for over 20 years. Over the years, she saw how muscle imbalances many of her yoga students became expressed as physical pain and discomfort. By drawing on her extensive clinical nursing experience, She re-explored the concept of anthropotomy, the structure of the body and muscle context. She concluded that the key was self-care. Particular emphasis was placed on knowing every inch of your own body and constantly giving the body the love and care it needs. To She, the study of Yoga is not only about being in harmony with our body through Asana balance and connecting with our inner emotions. It is also about making the best use of the connection between people, ourselves and the whole universe.
